Design documentation

Turning an agreed design into a council-ready package

A defined drawing package prepared for assessment, with the purpose of every sheet made clear.

Concept line illustration — design documentation. Not a photograph of a built project.

About this illustration

A concept line illustration of this project type — not a photograph of a built project. It carries no project name or photography.

The problem

The owners had a design they liked but not a set of drawings the council or a builder could act on. They wanted to understand exactly what they were receiving and what it could be used for.

How we worked

We defined the drawing register first, then prepared plans, elevations, sections and the supporting information the assessment needed. Revisions were recorded so the status of each issue stayed clear.

Council and approvals

The package was issued for its stated purpose.
