New home
A corner block, considered from two street frontages
A new home that worked with the exposure of a corner site, rather than turning its back on one of the two streets.

About this illustration
A concept line illustration of this project type — not a photograph of a built project. It carries no project name or photography.
The problem
A corner block gives more frontage but also more exposure. The owners wanted privacy from the street without a blank wall facing the corner, and a layout that worked for a growing family.
How we worked
We used the corner as an asset, setting the primary outlook to the quieter street and screening the busier one. Living and sleeping zones were separated so the home could flex as the family changed.
Council and approvals
Design development addressed corner truncation, setbacks and outlook.
